It's School Social Worker Week! We appreciate our PSD social workers, Christina Kroes and Adam Prister, for all they do to support students and families. Thank you for all your work!

Please join us on Wed, February 28th at 6pm for the Mid-Winter Choir Concert at Parchment Middle School. Our choirs have been working hard this trimester to learn new music and we'd love your support! A short reception will follow the performance.

It's World Read Aloud Day! Children who are read to at least three times a week by a family member are almost twice as likely to score in the top 25% in reading. February is Black History Month! This month we celebrate the contributions of African Americans to our nation in arts, sciences, business, and much more.
To learn more about the history of African American businesses, check out the Library of Congress's audio interviews on "The Green Book", a guide published from the late 1930s to the 1960s which listed businesses that welcomed African American customers. The interviews explore the histories of these establishments, how they stayed in business to today, and how they operate in their current communities.
