SAC Crossover Information
On Saturday our varsity baseball and softball teams play in a crossover round robin. Our league has three divisions (central, lakeshore, which consist of six schools each. The final place of each team determines who they are playing Saturday.
For example, the first place team in the central division, the first place team in the lakeshore division, and the first place team in the valley division will all play at the central division school on Saturday for BASEBALL. The lakeshore division will host softball this year. Next year, the valley will host baseball OR softball (yet to be determined).
Our baseball team is the 1st place team in the valley division. Watervliet won the Lakeshore division and Galesburg-Augusta won the central division, so the teams are set.
Our softball team took 3rd in the valley division. As of right now, Coloma is the 3rd place team in the lakeshore division and Saugatuck is the 3rd place team in the central division. If the standings stay the same after tonight's games, Parchment will travel to Coloma on Saturday.
This is a LOT of information, and we should know more after tonight's contests for softball. Baseball there are conflicts, which should be hashed out before today's doubleheader against Hackett.
