Panthers drop a close game in the Division III quarterfinals to Calvin Christian by a final score of 4-2. Great season by our team and coaches, you make our community proud.

After five the Panthers trail 4-2.
Squires add another to increase the lead to 4-2 going into the top of the fifth inning.
After three inning the Panthers trail 3-2.
Parchment tied it up led by Maddy C with a lead off single to start the inning. Jessica B moved her over. Kat with a single and a steal. A wild pitch and Jessica D fielders choice scored the runs. After 2.5 innings were knotted at 2.
Squires strike first for a pair. Calvin Christian leads 2-0 after two innings.
Barbara and Emma with two-out hits but the Panthers were unable to capitalize. 0-0 going into the bottom of the second inning.
After one inning we’re scoreless.

Tonight’s athletic booster meeting has been moved to 8:15 p.m. in the large conference room in the high schools main office.
Softball Quarterfinal UPDATE (6/12 at 6:05 p.m.)
Pending MHSAA approval which will more than likely come on Monday morning, the game time for Tuesday's quarterfinal game at Cornerstone University will be changed to 10:30 a.m. due to the expected temperature. The bus will depart PHS at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
