Today, the Kalamazoo County Health and Community Services Department and the Allegan Health Department issued a public health order related to indoor mask wearing in grades K-6. This will include GSRP, School-Aged daycare and Young 5 students. You can view the order here. The orders are attached to this communication as well. This order requires indoor mask wearing for all staff, students and visitors in the identified grade levels.
The Parchment School District will immediately implement this order with full fidelity and adherence. Additionally, we will be taking time to fully analyze the order to see how it impacts operations of the district to finalize our detailed plans for the school year.
The Parchment School District will continue to communicate updates as soon as they become available.
