5/28/21

 Dear Seniors and Senior Families,

One week away and the big day is here!

Here are the final (hopefully) adjustments with the most recent changes along with critical information.

  • All students have received 6 tickets. If you need more tickets, please contact Peggy Striebel @ 488-1101. We should be able to provide you with a couple more tickets if you need them. We are not opening the event to the public for in person attendance. We only have the home bleachers and want to make certain that the families can get seating.
  • PPE – If we are outside there are no requirements for masks. If we must be inside all students/guests will be required to wear a mask.
  • Students will be walking on the grass field so make good choices about shoes.
  • Students MUST attend Graduation Practice on 6/4 at 9:00 am at the high school athletic field.
  • Tickets must be filled out in case we need to contact trace.

The Graduation Ceremony will be held on the High School Athletic Field on June 4th  at 7:00 p.m. Gates will open for seating at 6:30.

  • This event will NOT be open to the public – you must have a ticket to attend.
  • Plan on limited seating if we must be inside due to weather. The number of tickets for each student will be reduced to four - please lt your guests know who the four are.
  • Weather – the event will run on 6/4. We cannot push the date back as seniors have sports finals and grad plans on the following days. If it rains, we will get wet – plan for it. If the weather is severe, we will move it indoors to the main gym.
  • Graduation itself will be broadcast or live-streamed (link will be shared out and posted on the website).
  • We will have Lifetouch there to take pictures of graduates receiving their diplomas.
  • Guests will be seated in the home bleachers. We have a ramp for easy access to the bleachers and space for wheelchairs in the bleachers. Please contact Peggy Striebel at 488-1101 if you have a guest that needs this space as this type of seating is limited.

This is an exciting time. Please talk to your senior about making good choices over the next few weeks as we want everyone to attend the ceremony. We will broadcast any changes as they occur.

Please join us in positive thoughts about the weather! As of today, the weather looks good for the 4th with sunny skies and 80 degrees! Keep the good thoughts focused!

Sincerely,

George Stamas
