and opportunities to help your student explore their future!

where every student thrives. College and Career Week aligns perfectly
with this vision, serving as an important springboard for conversations at
home about your student's interests, strengths, and goals for life after
high school. What to Expect During College and Career Week
Career Speakers:
Students will hear from professionals in fields such as healthcare, skilled
trades, psychology, military, and more. These presentations allow
students to explore different careers, hear real-world experiences, and ask
questions about what it takes to succeed in these pathways.
Application Support for Seniors:
Seniors will have access to dedicated guidance for college applications,
vocational programs, and other post-graduation plans. This support
ensures that each student has the tools and information to make
thoughtful decisions about their future.
Field Trips to Trade Schools and Colleges:
Hands-on visits to local colleges and trade schools give students the
chance to experience different educational settings, learn about
programs firsthand, and see potential pathways that match their goals
and interests.
How Parents Can Support This Experience
Engage in Conversations: Ask your student about the career speakers
they meet, the programs they see, and the interests that excite them.
These discussions help turn exposure into meaningful planning for the
future.
