NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

National Honor Society

The Parchment Chapter of the National Honor Society is dedicated to the qualities of character, scholarship, leadership, and service.

All 32 members, made up of Juniors and Seniors, have maintained a GPA of 3.4 or above during their high school career, examples of what it truly means to be a scholar. They have proven to be citizens of character, demonstrating respect and responsibility both in an out of the classroom. Models of leadership, our students hold themselves to a high standard, setting examples for those around them to be the best that they can be.

The dedication of oneself in the name of service is where the members of NHS shine. From band leaders to eagle scouts to youth group leaders, our students demonstrate what is means to give service to our community.

Our NHS chapter motto, Noblesse Oblige, French for Nobility Obligates help keep the flames of scholarship, service, leadership, and character alive in our members, where we believe "those of high rank have an obligation to exhibit honorable, generous behavior."
