Careers is a ninth grade
requirement designed to prepare all freshmen to meet the challenges
of high school and beyond. Students will explore the six major
career pathways and understand the types of careers found in each
pathway along with their characteristics and educational
requirements. In addition to career information, the following
topics will be covered: getting to know your school, learning
styles inventory, goal setting, decision making, conflict
management, interest and aptitude assessment, study skills, and time
management.
